Airport Pick-up, Gear Review & Light/Wildlife Orientation
Your journey begins with a warm welcome from your BMC TOURS & SAFARIS driver at Kilimanjaro International Airport. You are transferred to your comfortable hotel in Arusha, where you settle in and prepare for the days ahead.
In the evening, you meet your specialist photography guide for a private briefing. Together, you review your gear, discuss the types of images you hope to capture, and explore the unique light conditions of each destination. Your guide shares insights on positioning, composition, and the behavior of the wildlife you will encounter. A delicious dinner follows, setting the stage for a safari designed around your lens.

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, arriving in time to set up for the day's first golden light. This park is defined by ancient baobab trees and the life-giving Tarangire River, which draws massive elephant herds during the dry season. Your guide positions you for sunrise shots along the river, where elephants gather to drink and the soft morning light illuminates their tusks against the dark water.
Spend the day exploring acacia woodlands and open savannahs, capturing lions resting in shade and giraffes browsing treetops.
