Your migration season safari begins with a morning pickup from your Arusha hotel by your BMC TOURS & SAFARIS guide. Drive to Tarangire National Park, a landscape dominated by ancient baobab trees and the life giving Tarangire River. During the dry season (July to October), this park hosts some of Africa's largest elephant herds, numbering in the hundreds, gathering along the riverbanks. Enjoy a half-day game drive through acacia woodlands and open savannahs, spotting lions, giraffes, zebras, and over 500 bird species. A picnic lunch is served overlooking the river, where elephants drink and play. In the late afternoon, exit the park and transfer to your comfortable lodge.

After breakfast, journey toward the legendary Serengeti National Park. The scenic drive takes you through the Ngorongoro Highlands, with stops at breathtaking viewpoints overlooking the Great Rift Valley. As you descend onto the vast plains, the horizon stretches into eternity. Enter the Central Serengeti, the wildlife rich heart of the ecosystem and a key staging area for the Great Migration between July and October. Stop for a picnic lunch at Naabi Gate, the main entrance to the Serengeti, where you can stretch your legs and take in the sweeping views. The Seronera Valley, with its permanent water sources, attracts lions, leopards, cheetahs, and the vanguard of the migrating herds. Enjoy a late afternoon game drive, positioning yourself for predator action as the golden light softens. Arrive at your comfortable camp for dinner and overnight under a blanket of stars.

Begin your final day with an optional sunrise hot air balloon safari over the Serengeti, followed by a champagne bush breakfast. If you choose not to balloon, enjoy an early morning game drive as the Serengeti awakens in golden light. Your expert guide tracks the migration herds moving North toward the Mara River (July-October). Continue game viewing through the morning, then enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush. Take a final short game drive before transferring to Seronera Airstrip for your return flight to Arusha. Upon landing, your BMC driver meets you for transfer to your hotel or Kilimanjaro Airport.
