Walking Among Giants: Tarangire's Elephant Kingdom
After arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or pick-up from Arusha, drive to Tarangire National Park, a wilderness area known for its giant baobab trees, seasonal river systems, and large elephant herds. Begin your experience with a guided walking safari in designated areas near the park ecosystem, offering close connection to nature and wildlife tracks, followed by an afternoon game drive across open savannahs. Tarangire is rich in wildlife including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and diverse bird species. Lunch is taken during lunch time at a scenic picnic site inside the park. In the evening, transfer to your lodge near the Lake Manyara.
