Depart from Arusha after breakfast and travel to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s leading wildlife destinations famous for giant baobab trees and large elephant populations. The park features seasonal river systems attracting zebras, giraffes, buffalo, antelopes, and predators such as lions and leopards throughout the year. Game drives explore open savannah, woodland habitats, and river valleys where wildlife gathers in high concentrations. Lunch is enjoyed during lunchtime inside the park before continuing afternoon game viewing and proceeding to your lodge.

After breakfast, continue through Ngorongoro Conservation Area toward Central Serengeti while passing scenic highlands, Maasai villages, and wildlife corridors. After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day safari in one of Africa’s most unique wildlife destinations. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a collapsed volcanic caldera supporting elephants, lions, buffalo, hippos, flamingos, and the endangered black rhino across grasslands, swamps, and lake areas. Game drives explore different sections of the crater offering excellent Big Five viewing opportunities throughout the day. After breakfast, depart Karatu and travel back to Arusha through scenic highlands, coffee farms, and rural northern Tanzania landscapes. The journey offers final views of volcanic scenery and local villages before arrival in the city. Lunch is enjoyed during lunchtime en route before transfer to your hotel or Kilimanjaro International Airport for departure, marking the end of your Great Migration Discovery safari experience.
