We recommend neutral-colored clothing (khaki, beige, olive green) to blend in with the environment. Avoid bright colors and dark blue or black, which can attract tsetse flies. Sturdy, closed-toe hiking shoes or trail running shoes are essential, along with a wide-brimmed sun hat.
The walking safaris in the Serengeti usually last between 2 to 4 hours, depending on group preference, weather, and wildlife activity. Walks are conducted at a slow, educational pace with plenty of stops to observe footprints, plants, and landscape features.

Our Mto wa Mbu Maasai immersion is authentic and interactive. You will walk with Maasai warriors as they herd livestock, visit a traditional manyatta, learn about beadwork from local women, and share a local lunch prepared by the community.
