Day 1 Arrival – Lake Manyara National Park Game Drive

Lake Manyara National Park Game Drive

After arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport / Arusha Airport or pickup from your location in Arusha, you will be warmly welcomed by your BMC TOURS & SAFARIS guide and given a short safari briefing before departing to Lake Manyara National Park. The park is well known for its tree-climbing lions, large troops of baboons, elephants, flamingos, and over 400 bird species. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided game drive through the lush forest, open plains, and lakeshore areas.

Stop at a scenic picnic site for lunch and take time to relax while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Continue with an afternoon game drive as your guide shares wildlife knowledge and bird watching insights. In the late afternoon, exit the park and transfer to your accommodation in Mto wa Mbu.

Day 2 Cultural Tour / Maasai Community & Departure

Mto wa Mbu Farms, Maasai Boma & Return to Arusha

Maasai Village Cultural Interaction

After breakfast, begin your cultural tour in Mto wa Mbu village or visit a nearby Maasai community for an authentic cultural experience. Walk through local farms, banana plantations, and small markets while learning about local traditions, farming activities, and daily life. Meet local artisans, see traditional crafts, and enjoy cultural songs and dances with the community.

You will also have the opportunity to buy handmade souvenirs and interact with local people. After the cultural visit, transfer back to Arusha for lunch and a short stop at the Cultural Heritage Centre to explore art, crafts, and gemstones before your transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport / Arusha Airport or your preferred drop-off point.
