Tarangire River Wildlife Drive, Giant Baobabs & Elephant Herds
Your safari begins with an early morning pickup from your Arusha hotel by your BMC TOURS & SAFARI guide. A two-hour scenic drive brings you to Tarangire National Park, a stunning landscape of rolling savannah and iconic baobab trees. Upon arrival, you embark on extensive game drives through this wildlife-rich park.
Tarangire boasts the highest elephant concentration in Northern Tanzania, with herds often numbering in the hundreds. Your expert guide helps spot lions, leopards, buffalo, zebras, and over 550 bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch overlooking the Tarangire River, where animals congregate to drink. In the late afternoon, you exit the park and drive to your comfortable lodge near Lake Manyara.
Dinner and overnight at Kirurumu Tented Lodge

After breakfast, you take a short drive to Lake Manyara National Park, set dramatically against the Rift Valley escarpment.
