Day 1 Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your safari begins with an early morning pickup from your Arusha hotel by your BMC TOURS & SAFARI guide. A two-hour scenic drive brings you to Tarangire National Park, a stunning landscape of rolling savannah and iconic baobab trees. Upon arrival, you embark on extensive game drives through this wildlife-rich park.

Tarangire boasts the highest elephant concentration in Northern Tanzania, with herds often numbering in the hundreds. Your expert guide helps spot lions, leopards, buffalo, zebras, and over 550 bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch overlooking the Tarangire River, where animals congregate to drink. Day 2 Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha

After breakfast, you take a short drive to Lake Manyara National Park, set dramatically against the Rift Valley escarpment. Your game drive begins in the lush groundwater forest, where baboons and elephants roam beneath the canopy. Emerging onto the floodplains, the shimmering soda lake appears, often pink with flamingos.

Keep watch in the acacia branches above—Lake Manyara is world-famous for its tree-climbing lions. You'll also encounter hippos, giraffes, and buffalo herds.
