After arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or pick up from Arusha, begin your safari journey with a drive to Tarangire National Park, a landscape defined by ancient baobab trees and seasonal river systems. This park is famous for its large elephant herds, often seen gathering along the Tarangire River, especially during dry season movements. The ecosystem also supports lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and diverse bird species. Enjoy a full day game drive exploring open savannahs and river valleys where wildlife congregates in high density. Lunch is taken during lunch time at a scenic picnic site inside the park surrounded by nature. Continue afternoon exploration before heading to your lodge.
