After arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or pick-up from Arusha, begin your safari with a drive to Lake Manyara National Park region. Enjoy a game drive where elephants, giraffes, baboons, and tree climbing lions may be seen along the forest and lakeshore zones. Continue with an immersive village walk and optional biking experience around local communities, offering cultural interaction and views of daily Tanzanian life. After breakfast, drive through the Ngorongoro Highlands toward the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site formed by a collapsed volcanic caldera. Descend into the crater floor for a full day game drive in one of Africa's most concentrated wildlife ecosystems. The crater supports lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, flamingos, and the rare black rhino within grasslands, swamps, and a central lake.
