Giants of Tarangire: Where Elephants Rule Beneath Ancient Baobabs
After arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or pick-up from Arusha, begin your safari journey to Tarangire National Park, a landscape famous for giant baobab trees, seasonal river systems, and large elephant herds. Enjoy a full-day game drive through open savannahs where lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and diverse birdlife thrive in high concentration around the Tarangire River. This park offers one of Tanzania's strongest elephants viewing experiences, especially during dry season movements. Lunch is taken during lunch time at a scenic picnic site inside the park surrounded by wildlife. In the evening, drive to Mto wa Mbu.

After breakfast, depart Karatu and drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, passing volcanic highlands and Maasai grazing lands. Stop at the Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint for panoramic views of this collapsed volcanic caldera, one of Africa's most important wildlife ecosystems. Continue the journey toward Serengeti National Park, entering the Central Serengeti (Seronera), the core of the wildebeest migration ecosystem. This region is defined by endless plains, kopjes, and river systems supporting permanent wildlife populations and seasonal migration movement. Lunch is taken during lunch time at Picnic area. Then game drive continues across predator rich areas.

Begin your final morning with an optional early hot air balloon safari over the Serengeti plains, offering a breathtaking aerial view of the wildebeest migration as herds move across golden savannahs with predators roaming below. After landing, enjoy a bush breakfast in the wild. Alternatively, take a sunrise game drive focusing on early predator activity and active migration movements. After breakfast, continue with a short game drive en route as you exit Central Serengeti. Lunch is taken during lunch time on the route before continuing the journey back through the Ngorongoro Highlands.
