Depart Arusha after breakfast and travel through the Great Rift Valley toward Maasai territory in the Ngorongoro Highlands. Visit a traditional Maasai community and experience local culture, pastoral lifestyle, traditional homes, and daily activities within northern Tanzania’s famous cultural landscape. The journey continues through scenic volcanic highlands surrounded by rolling hills and rural villages. Lunch is enjoyed during lunchtime en route before arriving at your lodge for relaxation.

After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day safari in one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife destinations. This UNESCO World Heritage Site supports elephants, lions, buffalo, hippos, flamingos, and the endangered black rhino across grasslands, swamps, and lake ecosystems. Game drives explore different crater habitats offering excellent Big Five viewing opportunities throughout the day. Spend these days exploring Central Serengeti, one of Africa’s richest wildlife ecosystems and home to the Great Wildebeest Migration. Massive herds of wildebeest and zebras move across open plains, river systems, and kopje landscapes while predators including lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas closely follow migration routes. Game drives explore different wildlife territories offering continuous safari action and excellent photography opportunities throughout the day.

Begin the day with an early morning safari drive across Central Serengeti when wildlife is most active across the plains.
