Day 2 Magamba Rainforest to Malindi Village Rainforest Walk and Homestay

After breakfast, descend through the hills toward Irente Farm, a community-owned enterprise known for its fresh produce, dairy, and spectacular location. The trail offers some of the region's most beautiful scenery, with terraced fields cascading down the mountainside. Stop at the Irente Viewpoint, one of the most spectacular vantage points in the Usambaras, where you can gaze out over the plains below and, if luck holds, catch a glimpse of Kilimanjaro in the distance. Visit the Irente School for the Disabled, a heartwarming community project that provides education and support to children with disabilities—a meaningful stop that highlights the region's spirit of resilience and care. Transfer to your lodge in Lushoto.

Day 6 Mkomazi National Park Game Viewing and Rhino Sanctuary

Mkomazi is also one of the best places in Tanzania to spot the African wild dog, along with elephants, giraffes, lions, and over 450 bird species. Enjoy a full day of game drives across open savannahs and acacia woodlands, with a picnic lunch in the bush. Return to Lushoto in the late afternoon.
